La deuxième fonction est la programmation du variateur. Aussi deux mots d'explication:
On considère que le variateur est branché (au recepteur et au moteur et que la radio est allumée gaz à fond.) Tu enlève le cavalier et tu branche l'accu. "Petit signal" Tu passe Gaz à zero "re petit signal". Tu enlève l'accu et tu replace le cavalier en fonction de l'accu employé. Le variateur mémorise la programmation qui sera d'application au prochain branchement de la radio et de l'accu.
Deux petits détails. Le variateur ne met pas le moteur en route si les gaz ne sont pas à zéro au branchement de l'accu.
Le second est qu'il ne supporte pas l'inversion de polarité du courant venant de l'accu(destruction immédiate)
